Usually migraines provoke a predisposition, or pressure surges, stuffy air, lack of water or visual fatigue. However, there is another important cause of headache related directly to the health of the dentition.
Headache due to malocclusion
In case of a broken bite, the jaw closes tightly and unevenly with each other. As a result, some jaw muscles are relaxed, while others are excessively tense to compensate for this imbalance. Normally, in humans, they strain only when chewing, and not around the clock. With constant hypertonicity, tension is transmitted to the entire jaw, vessels and nerve endings are spasmodic.
